I have had fitbit's in the past and I have done well with them. They help me keep active in my day to day life outside of the gym. I lost my last Fitbit one inside a King Sooper's (I Think) never to be seen again.
Today I picked up a new fitbit one. I have tried the one, zip, and Charge and so far the one is my preferred step counter. I have also tried Motoactive,Garmin Vivo fit, Garmin Forerunner 70 and am currently using a Garmin Forerunner 10 as a heart rate monitor and watch. I'm a techy girl I love my electronic gear it help makes things more interesting for me. I love having the numbers and being able to graph my progress and see everything clearly in black and white. I don't trust clothes sizes because they vary to much between brands and even within brands to various cuts and shapes. Weighting in everyday doesn't give me the same sense of accomplishment as being able to see those weigh ins a clearly understandable line graph. I hate math but I love numbers go figure.
Now with the new fitbit comes my new first small goal for the next 2 weeks I want to get 7k steps a day. I know the suggested amount is 10,00 a day but for now I will baby my knee a little and shoot for the 7. If I find that is to easy I can always bump it up a little.
Walk On..
